    • Hello Michel,

Thank you for your words! Probably in the near future I´ll publish one of my pictures in the Photo Criticism section of this forum. Once I´ve learned a bit more of technique issues.

    • You wrote: "so before publish my own work I'd like to learn a bit more I'm surethat I'm in the right place.". Do not be afraid to publish your own work. By seeing what you do well we can perhaps motivate, to see where improvements can be achieved we can argue in feedback. By looking at what others are doing, you learn a lot, but the best teacher is practice. Photography is a wonderful hobby.

    • Hello,

My name is Anne and despite I don´t visit this community so much because of my job, I think that this place is really awesome for those people (like me), that want to learn. I´m so proud to be a part of this network. I´m from France and I´ve just started in photography, so before publish my own work I´d like to learn a bit more. I´m sure that I´m in the right place.

I love nature photography because I think that nature is the best scenario for express myself.

I hope to visit this community more often...

      Regards,

      Anne

    • Hello everyone,

I come from Belgium and currently stay around Amsterdam. I'm the head of Nomadcitizen which is a company focus on remote treks in Indian Himalayas but also "urban" photo workshops taking place in Bangkok, Manila and Yangon

Having traveling a lot in the East for the last 16 years (even if I still feel my journey is not finished yet.), I decided it was time to focus on 2 passions which is travelling and photography.

Everybody have heroes, I’m a big fan of Tintin, Corto Maltese, Phileas Fogg, Ella Maillard, Eric Newby, Cartier Bresson, Oliver Follmi and many more, they are surely and without any shadows of doubt a clear source of inspiration and help me to understand the meaning of the word “travel”.

On top of what has been said above, if you add a zest of curiosity, a zest of passion for great food, a zest of family and a big zest of silliness, you should have an idea of who I am.

      Ciao

      John

    • I've spent most of my life as an educator and writer. Much of my writing included photography. Now my photography includes writing. I travel quite a bit with my most recent trips to Russia (not the Ukraine) and Hong Kong. I write a blog North Fork Light Photography and I maintain a web site at http://www.northforklight.com

    • Hello,

According to my knowledge and experience I recognize that I´m a traveler and writer instead of photographer. I´ve recently started to consider photography as a serious discipline in my life because I´m a quite bad photographer.

By joining this community I hope to learn how can I take advantage of my camera and start to do better pictures.

      Great community!! Congratulations!!
